Ólafur is an Icelandic/Danish photojournalist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Ólafur work focuses on cultural og social issues and current affairs. Ólafur's work has been published in all major Danish newspaper and a range of foreign media. 

In 2022 Ólafur was granted the title as National Geographic Explorer

2013: BA in Urban Planning and Social Sciences, Roskilde University

2018: BA in photojournalism, Danish School of Media and Journalism with internship at Berlingske/Scanpix
